"The Hounds of Heaven" are coming soon!

This is one of my Heavenly Hounds, from my soon to be released book, "The Hounds of Heaven." We are hoping to have it in time for Christmas. The book will feature a variety of breeds and its sequel will showcase even more breeds. A classic for anyone who has ever loved a dog. They are our angels on earth.

Victorian Cat and Kitten Series

I wanted to share one of the things which I am currently working on. This is my newest series, Victorian Cats and Kittens. At a recent seminar with Leslie Harrison, I have learned new tools which further refine my art. Leslie Harrison's seminars are wonderful and informative. I reccomend them highly.

Another Work

I just thought to share some more of my works which are available in print. I was captivated by the unique markings of this little Australian Shepherd puppy.
As noted, I can work in any medium, whether it be, oil, acrylic, gouache, watercolor,charcoal, or pastel.
It is usually hard to tell which media I have used as my style does not falter.
This puppy was rendered in soft pastel on Mormon Board. I am currently accepting commissions. I usually require half down. Look to my website for my pricing guide or for questions, please email me:

Artist Vanda Prepares for The West Minster Kennel Show

It is a pleasure to be accepted into this fine group of creatives. I look forward to networking and think tanking with you all. I don't really like to do art and craft fairs, but find the internet a wonderful way to actually do my work, yet still stay in touch with the world.

All that being said . . .

The one show which I do like though is the West Minster Kennel Show which will be televised in February. Right now, most of my work is geared towards this event. I am also finishing illustrating 2 children's books.

Drop me a line, I would love to hear from you and I am always taking orders for portraits and book illustration. My subject matter is diverse, all animals and people as well.
